TV debut

Here's the cinema ad I did with my partner while at WCRS in 2004 - Vote No for the EU Constitution. It could run again really with the current state of affairs!

Read the review from The Telegraph's Ad of the week here.

Buy Handmade

Since I'm a lover of all things arty, I want to show my support and encourage others to join in with buyhandmade.org for reasons they explain very well themselves:

"Buying handmade is better for people, better for the environment, and better for giving truly special and well-crafted gifts. The ascendancy of chain store culture and global manufacturing has left us all dressing, furnishing, and decorating alike. The connection between producer and
consumer has been lost. Buying handmade helps them reconnect".

So join the pledge and get a very nice badge like me! (ooh and but something crafty and unique at sites like etsy.com)

Gola Work

This campaign was for a pitch won while at design agency Point Blank. It was to follow on from the spiral campaign Gola had previously developed. The idea was that the powerful colours of the trainers lit up and 'powered ' the streets.

Final design by members of Point Blank and, as pointed out to me later - an image from the fantastic Trevor Jackson.

You couldn't make it up

This is an example of the many comments I try and take note of for use in something later - as real life is some times the most amusing. Something my mum said last week about watching the rugby:

" I thought, what are they worrying about - they're winning! Then I realised I wasn't looking at the score - it was the time!" (on tv screen)
Never mind mother dear, the twilight home is on the horizon..

Swatch. Telling Time With Colour

Saab drivers apologise to all beings that it offends by driving a car from the new Saab 9.3 Sport range. If they are going to drive a sports car, they're going to be polite about it.

Blogger Novice

Internet connection all sorted I can get on with getting this blog up and running, as it's looking a bit empty at the mo. It's ...work in progress...as any creative project is, except this time round I'm learning all the technical stuff too -the complicated html stuff that is normally done by the techies (do they have conventions like the trekkies I wonder?)
I have been on this thing for hours changing my template, but you wouldn't know that would you.
